Idaho's Medical Libraries

IHIA members generally have at least one meeting a year and publish a newsletter the Citation. They share information to improve the quality of health information available in Idaho.

The Spring 2011 IHIA Meeting is cancelled so everyone may have the opportunity to participate in the Fall 2011 Pacific Northwest Chapter of MLA (PNC) annual meeting to be held in Boise.  Stay tuned for more information...

Many IHIA members are also members of DOCLINE a interlibrary loan system that allows members to request articles that are routed to libraries that own the books or journals that are needed.  Most hospital library IHIA members will loan copies of articles to other libraries, some will provide this service to individuals. There is often a charge associated with interlibrary loans of health information. Contact your nearest Idaho hospital library to find out more.
