Idaho Health Sciences Librarian gets Published

Our own Ruiling Guo, from the Idaho Health Sciences Library at Idaho State University has with her colleagues been published in the April issue of the Journal of the Medical Library Association.

Her article is on the information needs assessment of Idaho's Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Ruiling did an outreach program to teach these professionals about Evidence Based Practice and how to search for evidence using library databases.

The IHIA executive board is planning your annual spring meeting. We will be meeting in Boise this year.  The tentative date is May 16 at St Lukes. Please mark your calendar, and if you have plans to stay in Boise, be aware hotels are getting booked up fast, it is also commencement weekend for BSU.  A new CITATION will be coming out in April with meeting details. Spring Semester at School

My doctoral journey is moving forward. I am in Spring Semester taking Quantitative Research and Organization Theory. I am still interested in Evidence-based Practice and find my classes are giving me a better understanding of information diffusion and the research practice gap.  Kathy
