Idaho Health Sciences Librarian gets Published

Our own Ruiling Guo, from the Idaho Health Sciences Library at Idaho State University has with her colleagues been published in the April issue of the Journal of the Medical Library Association.

Her article is on the information needs assessment of Idaho's Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists. Ruiling did an outreach program to teach these professionals about Evidence Based Practice and how to search for evidence using library databases.

You can get her article for free from PubMed Central. Be sure to look at the supporting content which has a copy of the survey she used.

Ruiling will not be able to attend our spring meeting in Boise, she will be attending the MLA conference in Chicago where she is the chair elect of the Pharmacy and Drug Information Section. She sends a friendly hello to all IHIA members.

Rick Goodwin EIRMC director of therapy services told me he attended the program and it was very helpful information.
